We farm Black Angus Cattle and Perendale/Romney on our 2200 acre hill country family farm.

Our Herd is made up of Black Angus Cows and Bulls.
Our cattle are born, raised and spend virtually all of their life on the home farm of Te Rohenga.
At 12 months of age they travel up the road to the beautiful Rangitikei regions where they graze on the lush grasses of Roselawn and Pencoed Farms in Marton.
They travel from Marton to Wellington to be processed before landing back in Levin, where you can buy the finished product fresh from our stockists - Woodys Free Range and Saville's Gourmet Butchery.
All our Beef is 100% grass fed and antibiotic free.
Located near Levin in the beautiful Horowhenua region, tucked up underneath the Tararua Ranges you will find Te Rohenga Farm, the home of Heights Farms and our family.
Purchased in 1907 by Edward Law, the farm has been in our family for 6 generations and currently has 3 of those generations living and working on farm .
The property is 2200 acres of rolling to medium hill country and has an annual rainfall of 1400mm which guarantees plenty of lush green grass for our livestock all year round.
In the last few years we have commenced an environmental planting programme, progressively fencing off our waterways and planting with native flora to improve both water quality and the ecosystems that surround it. We have also recently retired some steeper, erosion prone land, into a forestry block of Douglas Fir. These measures help to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure the land and waterways are as healthy as possible for both our family, future generations and our livestock.
Our livestock spend their lives roaming and grazing the hilly pastures with plenty of access to fresh water. The farming methods we use and the beliefs we hold, from grazing rotations to slaughter, preserve and protect the land we live on and respect the animals we raise from birth until their "one bad day" when they are sacrificed to provide food for our family and yours.
Our products reflect our beliefs in respecting our animals, raising them with the utmost care and comfort and in feeding our customers only what we feed our family - the highest quality beef and lamb, raised as naturally and humanely as possible.
